Dr. Georgio grew up in Central California, where he enjoyed playing sports and the great outdoors. He attended Montana State University with a BS in Biology, and Medical School at the American University of the Caribbean. Dr. Georgio's post-graduate residency was completed at the University of California, San Francisco and finished a fellowship training in sports medicine through the University of Southern California. Dr. Georgio loves treating athletes on all levels, from weekend warriors to professionals of all sporting disciplines.

He can frequently be seen on television working for NBC Action Sports, the Ironman Triathlon or covering MMA Cage Fighting events for the California Athletic Commission. He is actively involved with the USA cycling BMX team.

In 2014, Dr. Georgio helped to open the Health & Wellness Center at BCO. With his dedication to the health and wellness of families and athletes, Dr. Georgio is offering a complete wellness package at the center with service including sports performance analysis, nutritional wellness enhancement, weight management programs, select executive health and concierge family medicine.

When not working, Dr. Georgio can be found participating in local league softball, surfing, skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, hiking, scuba diving, or playing golf.
