Dr. Cha grew up in Southern California and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. After graduating from the California School of Podiatric Medicine, he completed an extensive podiatric surgical residency at Hawthorne Hospital. During his residency, he spent virtually all of his weekends running and operating a free, orthopedic clinic at the Red Cross hospitals in Tijuana and Mexicali. The donated efforts provided much compassion to the underprivileged. 

He was been in practice in Manhattan Beach for the past 17 years and in Inglewood for the past 20 years. His specialties include surgical reconstruction and diabetic wound care and limb salvage. He is currently on staff at Little Company of Mary Hospital, Centinela Medical Center, and Martin Luther King Hospital.

Dr. Cha has served on California's Board of Podiatric Medicine since 2012 and is currently president of this board. His dedication to the board and protecting the public has been instrumental in his compassionate and responsible care. He is board certified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.

When not working, Dr. Cha is a passionate golfer and a member of Virginia Country Club. He has been involved with many sports including basketball, soccer, and wrestling. He maintains a healthy and very active lifestyle, having run many 10k's and the Los Angeles Marathon. He understands an athlete's desire to return to activities quickly and completely.

Dr. Cha and his wife are parents to three wonderful kids. His philosophy of providing compassionate, comprehensive care has left many patients ambulating without discomfort.
